Tea Punch - 4 servings

Preparation: 10 min. Cooking: 15 min. Total: 25 min.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1-1/2 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 Tbsp Jasmine tea, or other tea
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small heavy saucepan. Bring to a simmer. Place tea in another pot and add boiling water. Steep about 3 minutes. Strain tea and return liquid to pot. Add spice mixture and fruit juices. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
